Confession

My son had a turkey and cheese sandwich slathered with mayonnaise and an entire oatmeal cream pie for dinner. Not a bite of fruit, not a morsel of vegetables. Turkey sandwich and oatmeal cream pie, that's it! But, it was on honey whole wheat bread. That has got to count for something, right? Sometimes convenience over rules and the green beans, carrots, peaches, etc are skipped. Not that Logan will eat these things on a regular basis. At least not in our presence. His teachers swear that he eats these things at school. All I've seen as far as eating whole fruit is when he sticks it in his mouth and it is immediately spit out and I get a rotten face. At one time I did manage to get him to eat mandarin oranges but the next time I tried he wouldn't have any of that. I don't know why he's become such a picky eater. He basically ate us out of house and home when he was eating baby food. I was told by our pediatrician at his one year check up in December to not go backwards. As far as giving him baby food in order to make him eat. Well, I never went back after that, but he still refuses to eat some things. I continue to try but without much effort. He does get his daily dose of liquid vitamins. That does give me some piece of mind.

Am I a bad mother? What do you think? :)

If your a bad mom then so am I. I must confess that Austin has eat gold fish for lunch before. Of course they were the whole wheat ones and he washed them down with juice.
