We were up at 6:45 this morning! Today was the last day of the semi annual Kidsignment Sale at the fairgrounds and we didn't want to miss it. This is where we get almost all of Logan's clothes each season. It's the best. They not only have clothes but toys, games, bedding, room decor, shoes, bags, and everything else you can imagine you might need for a child. The prices are super phenomenal. Now, usually we go on the first day it starts which is always a Tuesday and goes through Saturday. This time I didn't have enough vacation time to take off half a day. Today was the day. And I must say, despite the crowds and the long line to check out....I am hooked on going Saturday. We got a total of 80 items which included a few toys, a Bob the Builder bedspread, and clothes. 64 of the items were half price. We got some shirts and shorts for 25 cents!!! Saturday is when they have a ton of items half off. You can't beat it. Once you go, you are hooked for life!! It's awesome!
We also made an unexpected but not too surprising trip to the Children's Medical Center today. Logan was still running fever, vomiting, coughing, wheezing....just not feeling good at all. He was with Grandma and Granddaddy while we were at the sale. We got there to pick him up and he had thrown up all over Grandma. They were in the middle of cleaning everything and everyone up. Poor buddy was not feeling good. So we headed to the doctor. We were there for a good 3 1/2 hours...not so much fun with a 15 month old that hates to be still. We did let him run around some but you can only do that so much. Right when he was falling asleep they called his name...Thank God that wait was over. Everyone was at the point of looking at us and our child rolling around on the floor throwing an tantrum not only because he wasn't getting his way but also because I'm sure his ear was hurting. I am glad we took him today though. If we had waited to take him to our pediatrician on Monday I'm sure it would have gotten worse.
We came straight home after making a quick stop at CVS to get his ear infection "Bubble Gum" medicine. He fell asleep during his breathing treatment at the doctor around 5:30 and stayed asleep until about 8:45. Had some applesauce, some pedialyte, and back to sleep. I hope he sleeps through the night but I won't hold my breath. He never ceases to amaze me though. He is usually a good sleeper. The only difference tonight if he wakes up is that I'll actually go in and comfort him. Usually if we go in there when he wakes up and cries it takes FOREVER to get him back to sleep. We used to bring him to our bed but over the last 2 months or so we have completely stopped that....not a good habit to start. Thank goodness it wasn't too hard to end that.
Just keep us in your prayers. I hope his medicine kicks in soon and he can get some relief. The breathing is what really had me concerned. Giving him his albuterol more times a day should help over the next couple of days. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Poor little guy! I hope he feels better soon! Zayne had to take albuterol a few weeks back with a cold he had and it seemed to help him. What did they say was wrong with him? Just a virus mixed with a cold?
He has an ear infection in his right ear. He's been wheezing more than normal and just more congested. So now we have to give him the albuterol 4 times a day for a few days to see if he gets any better. Thanks! :)
