Will you be my Valentine?

Our Valentine's celebration kicked off Friday night. We had the pleasure of having the evening to ourselves. We love our son more than anything but sometimes you just gotta get away. Nana and Pop picked Logan up from school and he spent the whole night with them. Mommy and Daddy had dinner at Provino's. I love me some Italian food....my fav. It was delicious. We hadn't been there in years for some reason. We even got dessert....our own desserts, no sharing this time. We got my favorite favorite Tiramisu. Their's is pretty good....but not enough coffee flavor for me.

After dinner we rented 2 movies at Blockbuster. Yes, we are among the very few in America that probably hasn't caught on to NetFlix...a little behind in that area. We really don't rent movies that often so I guess that's why we haven't joined. I think we might! We wanted to go see The International but didn't really want to spend $20 on it. The movies here are ridiculous....$10 a ticket...what a rip off. Bowling was an option too but didn't want to wait for 3 hours to get a lane...that would have been our whole evening.

I fell asleep during the 1st movie...yes I'm lame. So, we didn't get the "alone" time we were hoping for. No taking advantage of not having Logan around to interrupt anything. I cannot stay awake during a movie at home for anything. I get it from my Mom...she is usually asleep before the opening credits are over! :)

This morning we got up and went to breakfast at Einstein Bros. Bagels...had never been. Loved it. Love bagels. I also had a $3 fruit and yogurt parfait...yum! A little expensive for what it is but it was worth it...it was pretty big. Fresh fruit! I had to throw something healthy in there with the carb packed bagel. Especially after the dinner I had last night.

Logan is in need desperate need of some new shoes. His are quite small now. You have to jam his feet into them. His toes are quite to the end but close enough. We h0pe to find a good deal at the Stride Rite Outlet store. 2 weekends ago they had buy one, get one half off. I hope that still applies. It's nice to get something for nothing or close to nothing. Especially something like shoes for an almost 15 month old since he'll grow out of them in a week!

Anyway, hope everyone has a great V.day. Ahhh....love, it's a wonderful thing.

what size shoe is he wearing? I've got a box of hand-me-down shoes from the little boy I babysit . . .maybe I can find a pair or two in there for Logan . . .what about clothes? I've got bags and bags of little boy clothes, too. That reminds me . . . I need to bring this one bag over to Karmen before Zain outgrows them!

He wears size 4 or 4 1/2 shoes. That would be great. For now he is in 12 months clothes. Of course by summer I would hope he would be in 18 months. Yeah, let me know if that works! :) Thanks for thinking of us!
