Haunted?

According to a majority of people ghosts are just not real. That there is no way that something like that can actually exist. I must say I am not one of those people. I have never been a skeptic when it comes to that. I don't see why there can't be ghosts. It does seem highly likely that after you die you cease to "exist" in a physical sense. But whose to say that it's not real or that ghosts are just figments of our imaginations.

With that said here is what happened early this morning. Justin finally came up to be around midnight. I was awoken from my half sleep by him whispering my name over and over. His voice was shaky and it sounded urgent. My first thought was that something was wrong with Logan. But, it didn't sound that urgent. Of course, being woken up I whispered back not so nicely, "What?" He has done this before , many a time, so I figured it was something that really wasn't that important at the moment and that it could wait until it was time to actually wake up. He proceeded to tell me that he was walking toward the stairs to come up for bed. Cup of water in hand, all the lights and the fan turned off. All of a sudden he felt something on the back of his neck followed by a long, slow, exhale like someone breathing. That is when he hauled butt upstairs. So, he figures there is now a ghost cohabitating in our house. Needless to say, I didn't sleep much at all last night. I made sure my feet were tucked in the cover and I kept peeking to make sure there was not any spirits lurking that I could see.

I was a little hesitant to venture downstairs this morning. Everything seemed in place and I didn't see anything. Of course, that doesn't mean there was nothing there. But an unseen/unknown ghost if plenty fine by me. I will probably have this in the back of my mind for a while. If there are no more incidences I will try to forget it. If it continues or happens any number of times, I'm calling an exorcist! :)

My mom thinks maybe Justin heard Logan breathing or something. But, his door was shut and the monitor downstairs was not even plugged in, much less on. He may have heard it from our monitor in the bedroom but again, our door was closed as well. I don't have an explanation. If Justin said that is what happened then so be it. I will just have to keep my eyes and ears peeled. Hopefully won't have any brushes with the paranormal world. I'm fine with that.
