So, we had our first official playdate and meet and greet with the neighbors. We have lived in our neighborhood for a little over 3 years and have barely spoken a word to anyone. We wave and speak to the couple across the street and even share the trash with them. But nothing has ever come of it. It's nice in passing but have never gotten to hang out.
I met some people from our neighborhood from Facebook and now it's like we've been friends forever. We got invited to play last night at another neighbors house. Little did we know it would turn into a full fledged pool party/cookout. Fun times. There were 4 couples total including ourselves and we all have kids. It was so cool to feel like part of something and hang out and get to know them. We hope to do it again soon. There is even talk about a weekly hang out...Sunday nights. Hopefully!

how fun. We used to have hang outs like this in our old n'hood & I miss them so much. In our new hood everyone around us is Much older so we dont have a lot in common.
