Halloween 2009........

did not go as planned. Nothing ever does when you have a child. Logan has been sick off and on the last week or so. He's been to the doctor twice in a week and they have found nothing. He's had a horrible cough, snotty nose, and fever. He has on several occasions said "Mommy....ears" and proceeded to point to and stick his fingers in one. So, I was worried he had an infection or two. But, both trips have confirmed NO infection. Just a precaution, we did get a prescription for Zithromax if his nose didn't clear up. It didn't so we started it yesterday. He seemed to be getting better Thursday til I took him to the football game Friday night. I should have known better and just keep him home since it was drizzly and wet the whole time. I wanted to kick myself yesterday morning when he coughed all night and his nose got worse again. I feel very guilty about that and wish I had never taken him. Lesson learned: Go with your Mommy gut!

We did go to our neighbors kiddie Halloween party last night but only stayed for an hour and a half. Poor Logan had his nose wiped about 650 times and was laying around and coughing his head off. So, I decided to take him home and keep him home. This also meant NO trick or treating and NO wearing his adorable monkey suit. At least we got to go to the Safe Trick or Treat at our old high school Thursday night with my friend Jen and her son Josh. He also wore it for his school parade on Friday. So I am not completely pictureless. It didn't turn out the way we wanted, going trick or treating and all but what can you do? There is always next year!
