Our wonderful week

I am glad this week is over and I hope that next week is better. I've been sick now for 2 weeks. I pretty much now just have a hacking, smokers cough and I am not and will never be a smoker. I went to doctor on Tuesday in fear I had strep throat. Justin scared me Monday night after looking down my throat with a flashlight and saying he saw white spots. First of all, he had no idea what he was looking at. I doubt he's EVER looked down someones throat. So, I thought maybe he knew what he was talking about and I did indeed have strep. I didn't want to take chances so I skipped work and spent $25 for a doctor visit and $26 on medicine that was still $26 even though it was generic. Oh well, what can you do? I felt great Wednesday but was back to coughing yesterday and today. Oh how I wish it would stop so I can get some sleep and also do something during the day besides spreading my germs all around.

At least Logan's pink eye is gone. The drops are amazing that they give you for it. Monday another 2 kids were sent home with it. Hopefully he won't get it again but I know it probably won't be the last time. I can only hope right? He is also coughing and has the constant runny nose. We are really doing good with giving him his breathing treatment every night. I know it won't work if we don't actually give it to him. We still have to do it after he falls asleep which is a pain sometimes but it's the only way it works. He screams and struggles the whole time, for 20 minutes, until it's over. So, we decided just to do it the easy way.

Justin is also sick now. He started taking Mucinex last night. That is what really seems to work. Everyone I know swears by it and so do we! That is what I should have started taking last week at the start of all my sick crap.
