Aunite Kim!!!

Well, my niece will be here today! Yippee! I will officially be Aunt Kim. My birthday was yesterday and was hoping that she would make an appearance sometime before midnight last night. No such luck.

My brothers girl friend is pregnant (but not for much longer) and they are having a little girl. She went in for an appointment yesterday and had some contractions. They admitted her and decided they were going to induce. I guess they decided she was going to be a big baby and wanted to go ahead and coax her out! I got a text at 2:30 this morning that her water had broken. Derek's exact words were "Ladies and Gentleman, we have broken water!" What a nut!

As of about 9:30 this morning things had progressed completely and she was ready to start pushing. I am so excited and can't wait to meet her! It's going to be so weird with my little brother having a child. Weird, exciting, scary, unbelievable and a whole lot of other things.

Me and Logan are supposed to take a trip to Florida this weekend to meet the new little bundle of joy. I wouldn't miss it for the world. Stay tuned for lots of news and pictures.
